I’ve always gotten befuddled when it comes to waiting lists for handbags. It’s all a bit silly and quite frankly the only thing I’d get on a waiting list for is an early appointment with my Dermatologist. When I saw the Nile I understood why, I mean it’s so effin gorgeous. I did see it in a local store and the small was offered to me twice after that but I tend to get busy, forget about it, then get irritated with myself when the bag is out of stock. Initially, I wanted the smaller one and still do but I prefer the medium because I want to carry a lot of things in my bag. As much as I try, it’s hard to minimize the stuff I carry around. I mean, everyone needs to strut around with a lego figure of Wonder Woman ok?
One evening I was browsing the Selfridges webbie because well, it’s so addictive and there it was, shimmering in pixie dust. Ok, not really but you get the idea. One left in stock, in medium. My inner fashionista had a series of heart palps and within a few clicks it was mine. No waitlists. I find when I don’t go stalking a bag, it eventually finds it way to me. Kinda like a nice man.
Whenever YouTubers make a WIMB (what’s in my bag) vid I love them! The little peeping Tom in me becomes very fascinated and curious. So I thought I’d give it a go. Please remember this is the first of its kind for me and I may digress a little. I know, I know, I digress a lot but I’m so babbly it’s not funny. If you’re contemplating whether to get the small or the medium, I really recommend the medium. It’s roomier and you can wear it nicely as a cross body or with the bangle. What I love most is that I can easily remove the shoulder straps and wear this in the evening as well.
I love pairing the Nile with my pretty Chloé wedge sandals that I had come across at a sale a few years ago. I honestly find that I can always pull out my Chloé accessories after a few years and they still look good.
Once again, I hope you enjoy the video and thank you for watching!
