Sunday Style: Judith Leiber

I’ve always been a huge fan of Judith Leiber handbags, especially the vintage pieces mainly because they’re free of blazing logo’s, are made from beautiful skins, semi-precious stones and possess an old world charm. I’ve managed to get my hands on a few that are in pristine condition and have even restored a few for some of my clients.

Why do I love them? They’re timeless, classic, handmade and sometimes I think they house mysterious secrets or have an enigmatic history. Yes, I let my imagination get the better of me when it comes to telling fables with accessories. That’s the thing when you’re a writer, you have a tendency to think that everything you come across should have a story.

I found that the black snakeskin clutch shown above goes really well with my signature┬áCleopatra scarf necklace that definitely has a story or two to tell. *Wink. Shhhh I’ll never tell.

Fave Judith Leiber Quote: “Half of what happens to you is luck, the other half maybe the talent, but that’s how life is..you never know.”
