Whenever I have a free moment I will always be found with a book in my hand, and if it’s a really good book, then somehow, I find a way to conjure a chunk of time to devour a riveting read. From Cleopatra to Elizabeth the First, Coco Chanel, Diane Von Furstenburg to Diana Vreeland, I seem to get carried away in a whirlwind of prose and imagination. See a pattern? Reading about strong courageous women is empowering, inspiring and worth dedicating an entire evening for. If you are pressed for time, try to read one to two chapters every evening, it’s worth it!
Fab book rec: Biographer Justine Picardie’s “Chanel- Her life” is a fantastic read. Picardie researched the book for 12 years and it is one of the only Chanel biographies in history to receive approval from the famous fashion house, with Karl Lagerfeld illustrating one of the versions of the book.
